The voice performances are fantastic (with Ewan McGregor, Christoph Waltz and Tilda Swinton the standouts), the established parts are jaw-dropping (especially the staggering whale sequence) plus the end-movement animation is gorgeously in-depth, an acceptable match of topic and type — the movie by itself appears to be like as lovingly handcrafted
